Call for Writers!

Have you ever thought about writing for The American in Paris? Now’s your chance — I’m putting out a call for new writers to join our small but mighty TAIP team. We still have plenty to share ourselves, and now I’m interested in expanding our reach via new voices, new stories, new pieces full of advice for new or hopeful expats.

If you’re currently living abroad in France or have ever lived there, you’d make a great fit. If you’ve more recently gone through the process of applying for a visa and are just waiting to board your plane, you’d also be perfect. People of all ages are more than welcome to apply — our team is made up of people in their 20s, 30s, 40s, and (well) beyond.

Those who are interested can comment below with their email or please feel free to send me a message directly at info@theamericaninparis.com. Include any writing samples if you have them, a few article ideas, and a little bit about yourself. This is a paid, freelance position with opportunities to publish at least two times per month.

Looking forward to hearing from (and reading) all of you.

Did you enjoy this article? TAIP is 100% reader-supported through tipping. If you want to leave us a tip of any amount it would be highly appreciated.  These tips help support our efforts to keep TAIP an ad-free environment. Just like at a cafe, the tips are split evenly among the team.
